How the real test works
The knowledge test (知識確認) is the first step of a license conversion at the license center. Pass it and you go on to the driving check, which needs 70 of 100 points. Before October 2025 it was 10 picture questions with a 70% pass mark.
The National Police Agency doesn't publish how conversion questions are spread across topics, only that they come from the rules guide. This mock uses the same topic shares as the final test, without hazard pictures.
If you pass the knowledge test but fail the driving check, you can retake only the driving check for 6 months. See our guide to converting a foreign license.
